How the rankings are built

Only items that make a meal on their own are ranked. Drinks, desserts, condiments, toppings, single pieces of sushi and small side dishes are excluded. The lowest-calorie ranking only includes items of 150 kcal or more — without that floor, side salads and soups fill the top and the list stops answering “what should I order when I want something light?”.

Conveyor sushi plates run 30–150 kcal and would swamp the lowest-calorie list, so they get their own ranking and are left out of the others.

The lowest-salt ranking drops items listed at 0.0 g, since a cooked dish is almost never truly salt-free and some chains fill undisclosed values with zero. Each ranking shows the top 200 and is re-sorted with every morning’s data update.
